
What is Space Camp?
Set in Huntsville, Alabama, Space Camp uses space to excite and educate children ages 9–11 in the fields of math, science and technology. Programs range from 3–5 days. Teamwork, self-confidence and communication will be achieved through state-of-the-art simulations, missions, rocket building and robotics.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Governing the Great State of Maine Airshow Parent/Child Space Camp Contest
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY:
Entry to this contest can be accomplished by completing the electronic entry form found in this section of the Great State of Maine Airshow website and e-mailing it via the submit button.
GRAND PRIZE:
Parent & Child Space Camp (3 Day Camp for one adult 19yrs old + and one child 7 to 12 years old) The trip includes round trip transportation from Portland International Jetport, to Huntsville, Alabama airport, transportation from the Huntsville Airport to the Space Camp, Tuition to Space Camp ($698/pair); Space Camp Duffle Bag including Sweatshirt, Tee Shirt & shorts for each participant ($160). All other expenses (meals other than those served as part of the Space Camp experience as well as any "spending money") are the responsibility of the winners of this prize.
Suggested Retail Value: Approximately $1,000.00 per person. ($2,000.00 total)
PRIZE TRANSFER:
No prize is redeemable for cash value or transferable (e.g. winner cannot surrender prize to any other person(s) under any circumstances).
ODDS OF WINNING:
The Grand Prize odds in this contest will be determined by the total number of entries submitted by eligible contestants.
HOW TO ENTER:
Only entries submitted from the [greatstateofmaineairshow.com] website will be accepted as official entries for this contest.
ELIGIBILITY:
The general public within the age guidelines (adult at least 19 years of age, child at least 7 years old and no older than 12 years of age) are eligible to participate
Uniformed members, civilian government employees, and contractors of the CNRNE MWR Department are ineligible to participate in this contest.
PRIZE ACCEPTANCE:
Upon notification and acceptance, each Grand Prize winner and their child will be required to sign and return the "Affidavit of Eligibility and Public Relations and Liability Release" form to Navy Personnel Command, MWR Division (PERS-659). Forms and submission details will be provided to winners upon acceptance.
Prize winners and their guests are solely and personally responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local income and sales tax.
PUBLIC RELEASE AND MEDIA:
All entries become the sole property of Navy MWR and will not be returned. Should any dispute arise as to who is the participant/winner of the Grand Prize or Consolation Prize, all decisions/rulings will be made by Navy MWR and will become final and binding.
By participating in this contest, all entrants release and agree to hold harmless Navy MWR, the U.S. Navy, the Department of the Navy, and their respective officers, employees, agencies, and other persons participating in this contest, from any and all liabilities, losses, damages, rights, claims, and causes of action of any kind in connection with his/her participation in the contest, or resulting from acceptance and participation of any of the scheduled events, without limitation, whether suffered by the entrant, guest, or any third party. This contest is subject to all applicable federal laws and regulations.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
NOTIFICATION:
The winner selection process will begin immediately following the contest close
on 16 September 2007. Winners will be confirmed and contacted by using the information
submitted by the entrants on the official entry forms. Once this has been accomplished,
winners will be notified via telephone and/or email. Further, all confirmed winners'
names will be announced at the Great State of Maine Flight Suit Event, held at Naval
Air Station, Brunswick, September 16, 2007 as well as on the Great State of Maine
Air show website.
